Kang Min Hyuck and Choi Jong Eon are the founders and CEOs of OpenCreators, a domestic consumer 3D printer maker developed out of the global open source hardware project RepRap. Two of the earliest members and directors of HackerSpaceSeoul, they have been actively introducing the consumer 3D printing technology via numerous public speaking engagements and exhibitions. OpenCreators aims to make available more affordable personal 3D printers, contributing to the formation of a new type of ecosystem built around 3D printing. Min Hyuck, majoring in nanoengineering at Sejong University, is responsible for developing marketing strategies and 3D printing service models; Jong Eon is in charge of developing 3D printing technologies and is studying mechanical engineering at Hanyang University.
